BarCelona’s unique upper level loft bar is the ideal venue for your private or business function. Furnished with its own private bar, comfortable leather lounges and adjustable lighting our function room can easily cater for events up to 100 people. You can select from our range of canapés, gourmet platters and quality beverage choices. Contact our Function Consultant who can assist in tailoring your event to your requirements.
There is no room hire fee; however, we will need a $200 deposit at the time of confirming your booking and a minimum spend of $1100 on the night (including food). If the minimum spend isn’t reached; the remainder will need to be paid in full before leaving your function. Note – Deposit is not refundable but will be deducted from your total spending on the night.
We do not do sit down dinners in the function room, however we have a range of platter options available – please see the attached menu. Platters need to be finalised within 1 week of the date of your function. We can also cater to a range of dietary requirements
You can have a bar tab or pay as you go at your function. We have a range of drinks available in our upstairs bar. We can also cater to special requests for certain beverages. Please advise us of special drink requirements 2 weeks prior to your function. Note — cocktails and tap beers are not available in our function loft space.
You can start your function at any time. Please be aware, we book the space out in four-hour blocks and any time exceeding this time will incur additional costs. If you need to set up the function room prior to your function, we can arrange for you to have access to the room earlier than your start time. We usually close the function room around 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights, however you can make your way downstairs afterwards and continue purchasing from the main bar.
You are more than welcome to bring a cake to your function. We will provide plates, cutlery and napkins. We can also store your cake prior to your function in our cool room, if need be.
You are more than welcome to bring your own decorations into the function loft space. We ask that you don’t use confetti or glitter as this will incur an extra cleaning fee.
The music will be the same as what is played downstairs in the restaurant. Adjustable by volume only.
Full payment for your function needs to be paid before you depart Barcelona on the evening of you event unless otherwise directed by the manager in charge of your function. We provide EFTPOS (incl. AmEx) and cash facilities to ensure the function is paid in full.
